Our hotel is steeped in history: the historic house was first mentioned in a document in 1456, and Joseph Victor von Scheffel - author of the world-famous epic poem "Der Trompeter von Säckingen" - also enjoyed spending his leisure time here.

We are a non-smoking hotel on our way to becoming ever more sustainable, which is why you will not find any minibars in our rooms as standard, in order to constantly improve our CO2 footprint, among other things.
